Keeping your resin jewelry happy:
Resin jewelry is relatively hard-wearing and durable but to get the best out of your pieces and ensure they last a lifetime please try to adhere to the following advice.
- Try and avoid your jewelry coming into contact with perfumes, skin products and hair products. Keep chemicals such as rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, hair spray, aerosols and nail polish away from your jewelry to prevent any accidental paint removal.
- Avoid dropping or being rough near hard surfaces with your resin jewelry. Resin is a fairly rigid plastic; it can chip with enough force.
- Remove when exercising, swimming, showering, or sleeping. Moisture and friction could damage or wear off any intentional finishes (aging, patina, paint).
- Store your jewelry out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight over time could cause your resin to discolor.
